Criminal activity is not sustainable. Yes, crime does pay, and crime is a way to make something out of nothing when times are hard. However, the criminal lifestyle is only meant to be temporary. Therefore, if you see no other option than a life of crime, think again. There is so much legitimate money to be made that it makes blood money look like a midget.

If you do not have the means to support yourself legally, and you have exhausted all options to provide for yourself and your family with no positive results, then crime could be a viable option. Just remember, this life hurts people, including yourself. So, be sure that you do not go into this type of lifestyle with delusions of grandeur that you will be able to sustain a life of crime forever.

Whatever dirt you must do, do it fast and secure what you need to reset your life in a positive manner. Once you dig yourself out of the hole, reinvest any funds from your criminal activities into something positive. If you do not know how to do this, ask someone, seek knowledge. Get on the right track fast and clean up any trails that may lead to destruction in the end.

Although you may look at life as a short term project, change your thinking and look at the long term. Do you really want to do any time in jail, surely not a life sentence or more? The answer to this question should be no.

Seek all available options before delving into a life of crime. Crime is tempting and can be very lucrative, depending on the aspect of crime you are involved in, but it is not sustainable. With that in mind, seek guidance on what other options are available to you. The dumbest question is the question never asked.
